Rescuing Without Fear

This seminar will identify and discuss the special challenges that rescue groups face when trying to rehome a fearful dog. Not only will we cover how to transition the dog into the foster home and how best to begin to bring peace and confidence to these special cases, but we also discuss how to develop a plan so that these dogs find successful forever homes.

Learning to identify what behaviors can be improved and how to improve them, is something that potential adopters need to be aware of to ensure placements will be right for the dog and the family.

• How to recognize a fearful dog
• How to rehabilitate rescue dogs
• How to advertise the dog so you attract the right kind of adopters
• How to transition the rescue dog to his/her forever home.
