Emma Parsons BA, is the Canine Behavior Training Consultant for the VCA Rotherwood Animal Hospital, and Training Director for Karen Pryor Clickertraining. She runs her own dog training business, is an author, and has been featured on numerous television shows. Emma gives seminars internationally on training and managing the reactive/aggressive dog and has taught clicker training classes to graduate students at the Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine.

Emma's book, Click to Calm! Healing the Aggressive Dog, was inspired by her work with Ben, her Golden retriever. Ben became aggressive to other dogs after being severely punished by an "aggression expert." Emma turned to clicker training and successfully eliminated Ben's dog-on-dog aggression. The Creative Canine, Emma’s dog training business, specializes in canine aggression issues.

Emma teaches several reactive dog classes at the Masterpeace Dog Training facility in Franklin, MA in addition to her work with graduate veterinary medicine students. Emma has worked for Yankee Golden Retriever Rescue as the Adoption Intake Coordinator for a number of years.

Emma recently acquired a new Papillon puppy named Wylie-Rae. She is clicker training him to show in Agility and Obedience competitions. In the fall, she anxiously awaits the arrival of a new Golden retriever puppy.
